And it's a positive state direct through the whole meeting, so... So it's a good communicator. How long have you been a part-timer with us? 14 years, right? Eleven. I've made it sound better. Eleven. See, I didn't recognize him, so... And he's full-time in blue and furry. I have never met him before. Okay. Maybe that's a good thing. Start running, stop. Or take a drink or... He's never seen my turn to be seen again. We'll come, isn't he? We will. So you're good with this? I am. I would move for... Except the recommendations. One second. All in favor? I am. Congratulations. Congrats. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I'm going to chat with you. Public Works. Joel's empty. Speed. Should. Don't you have videos? Well, you should have a doctor. There's some counsel. Videos and pictures. If you want to replace equipment, you better prove it's gone. Well, isn't he a funny guy? Yeah, I'll just give you a quick update on Public Works happenings. And James Bell, our column barium that we have purchased for the cemetery is finished. It's not installed. It's not delivered yet, but it is sitting at the plant up in little falls. I'm just waiting to hear when they're going to be dropping that off. And then I will also be... I'm in the process of putting a policy together to present to you guys on how we want to set rules pricing and such. So that will be coming your way soon. And also Bolton Main keeps moving forward with the updating of the cemetery records that we have them doing to the new format. They've gathered all the information they've needed. They were out there. They had an intern out there, GPS, seen taking photos of every single headstone. So look forward to getting that all plugged in and into a usable format. Parks. The sign should be arriving soon for the Yandey Arnold Park on North Street. I do haven't decided yet if we're going to install that yet this year or it's getting kind of late in the year. So we might wait until that road construction is finalized before we install that. It's going to be a little bigger than say like the Elke Park signs just because we're having one. And so yeah, we might wait on that installation. The... We'll also working with James O'Matters on researching ideas to install signage across the street at Veterans Memorial Park as well. Similar to the same designs that we have in Elke Park and now Yandey Arnold Memorial Park. They contacted me and they wanted to work together to come up with the plant. So that's what we're doing. We've also worked with Tim and Jessica Elke family and friends on installing several trees out in the Northwood Elke Park. They purchased the trees. They helped plant them. They helped plant them. So those are installed and they look great. Provide some beneficial shade in the future. That honor of their son? Yes. Yep. Will this there be a plaque? That I don't know. There's going to be a bench. They got a bench and there'll be a plaque on the bench. That's not installed yet. I believe that is on order. Yep. Yep. Yep. But I believe they want to place that under a specific tree. So, yeah. Very cool. Yep. And also with parks, this is kind of a lot of going on out in the Northwoods area. We had the walking path. Maybe some you've noticed that we had to move it. Clint, I know you've been working on that too. We had to move it off of most property and that is mostly complete. It is paved. There's just some black dirt and some seeding that needs to be completed there to get that project finished. If that affects moving that TP? No. It did not have to go that far. Yep. Just basically behind the twin homes there. Yep. So, on the streets, all CIP work for 2026 has been done. Chip seal overlays, except for the sweeping of excess chips. I believe that is getting done this Wednesday. And then that will be it for our CIP work for the year. One thing you may notice, or maybe you won't, is the business alley behind the bank, UC Lab. I originally proposed that we were going to overlay that this year, just with the volume of construction and underground work that's been happening there this year. I decided to push that back until next year. Just to get everybody in, there's also going to be boring for power and it just seems like it never ends. Hopefully next year we can get that sealed up. Let's see. As we were talking a little bit earlier in the meeting, I have started working on updating the snow removal policy. So, hopefully within the coming weeks here, maybe at the next meeting I'll have something to present to you guys to see if it looks okay. As far as updating that for mailboxes, sidewalks, et cetera. And one last thing, the old street sweeper, we put that at min-bit and that had sold for roughly around $5,000. So after fees and such, we received around $4,700, which I thought was pretty good, for all beat up record. So, that we bought used. Right. One to five years ago. How's everything going with that new broom? Great. My only concern now is we're going to be burning up brushes because Nick likes to sweep without eating dust. No, it's all going really great. Does anybody else have anything for Jill? Do you have any idea how the fiber optic installations are going or are they 50 cent complete? They are very hard completion. Now, Fidium is done. They're gone. Midco has probably, I'd say two weeks tops, hopefully sooner than that though. Yep. And then they'll be done. That's it. Those two disciplines too. Yep. Andrea mentioned in the utilities board that everything north is done. Yep. And they're just wrapping things up. So, we're hoping to be done this week, but does it sound like that? Right. Yep. That next week. Yep. And then the aftermath will start showing up. All the heads. They're all finding all the things that they drill through and it takes a while for those things to present themselves. Some will be here soon. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Something you can see within minutes. No other questions on that? Those topics. Not on that one specifically. Do you have a timeline for going back through some of the alleys that we touch up with? As far as grading. Grading, new gravel. There's some pretty nasty models, still some of those alleys. Anyone's in particular? I mean, we can... One behind first street between keel and... Market? Probably? Yeah. Yep. I touched that one up recently. But yeah, we can take a look at them again. Yep. Budget. Budget. Yeah. So, street wise, pretty minimal changes. Obviously, just your average salary increases. Insurance. I mean, we can go down the list. But is there anything that catches your guys' eye you want to ask about? We still don't have insurance numbers. When do we usually get them? Pretty late in the year, usually. October, November. To know what those are, how those are going to affect the budget. You know, we did increase the mosquito spray a little bit just to kind of keep up with the rising prices of everything. Hot holes, patching, you know, quarry materials, that keeps going down because we are doing such a good job in all the overlays and chipseal area. One thing I'd like to bring up Clinton is electricity. And I'm just with talking with Andrea. We probably should keep a better eye on that. We'd probably be looking at more like 54. Oh, okay. For that versus the 46. Because we fund all the electricity for the street lighties out of this line item. Yep. To make that 54 instead of 40. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, everything else virtually the same, you know, tree care. We're still going to keep hitting on the ash trees that are in boulevards in the parks as well. But of course, that'll be a park budget. But equipment-wise, the kind of two big ticket items we're talking about for next year would be updating the sander. It's just a boss put in an electric sander. We've had good luck with that. I believe the one we have now is, when did we get that? Probably 2014, I would guess. Good luck with it. But just kind of getting on in years, so I'd like to replace that. And then one other thing that's not listed here, but it would be budgeted out of the street reserve fund would be replacing the payloader snow plow. That also was purchased in 2014 when we got the John Deere payloader. So after a very hard life, a lot of welding, I'm looking to update that as well. And that would come about $30,000 out of the reserve budget. And of course, the big, the big, big ticket item is the road maintenance line on the bottom there. The 150,000 for overlays and ship seal. No offense, Joe, but how many pickups does the city own? Does the street department, the public work zone? We have three. You have three and the utility department. They also have three. They also, there are six pickups and there's a couple of one tons besides. They're all one tons. Okay. Yep. So every employee virtually, we have three employees in the public works. They're all pick up as well as utilities. Yeah. Sure looks. Yeah. Yeah. Anything else for Joe? Park. Park budget is next. I do have a question for Joe quick on the street. You bet. I think I asked this last year, maybe before I started. Where in the timeline are, I'm sure as the street lights we just replaced, unless they break or kind of do it in sections. When are the street lights up for replacement? They are just kind of as they get old and degrade at that point. Then they get replaced. Yeah. Yep. If the head goes bad or if a bulb burns out. Everybody was on me. As long as the park has the new guy. Yeah. And that came up as changing designs. Maybe getting ones that are more efficient or less bright and shiny in people's windows. Well, I know they do replace them all with LEDs if they do go bad. But that would be a question for the utility department too. They could have some more insight than I on that. I will see them next month then. On to the parks. Parks. Again, pretty uneventful. Your average increases in wages and such. Again, your insurance, pretty variable we don't know. The big ticket item for parks would be replacing more for next year. We replaced one this year with a big 11 foot 3 decker monstrosity. And that has been running really well. This coming year I propose that we replace the zero turn we have with another zero turn. That is going to be roughly around $50,000. That would come right out of the miscellaneous there. As well as a lot of tree work that will have to get done pertaining to ash trees and parks. That would come out of that as well. All right, I'll do it. I talked to several of the park board and I was liked and I talked to Paul Bogus. He runs songs of the park. Thank you for your time. And he does a great job of organizing it. But he's tired of getting out to recruit money. So I was proposing or I'd like to see us put $2,000 to $3,000 in the park budget for songs of the park. And if he ends up fundraising or sponsors come forward, then we can offset some of that. Additionally, he would like to have someone step in and train under him. And if they don't have to go out and fundraise for this event, I think he's more apt to get someone to help him and train in to be his assistant in that. He doesn't take any money from it. He does a great job of organization. So I would like to see us add that you don't have any objection to you, Joe. So come that. Well, it's ultimately the council's decision. The money will probably be easier than finding someone to fill in and try to learn all that. Yeah, he does a lot. He does a heck of a lot. But he's his mind. He was just frustrated with having to do that. Sure. I'd like to see us add that if we gave him that small amount of money to use for it, he wouldn't have to scavenge as much. I'd only see $3,000 in there. If it's $500 in event, that'll be six events. And I think we're going to go back to six events rather than eight, correct? Or maybe eight instead of ten. I think he was going to drop them late August because school starts and we have a small attendance. You know, we have volleyball and football and the school is starting there. So I think he's going to stop short of Labor Day. Sure. That's what he was talking about. I'd like to see that added in there. I'm shocked that businesses aren't coming to him wanting to kind of sponsor, you know, everybody sponsors in the evening. If a business wanted to sponsor, you know, put their name up around the... Well, maybe this money could make banners for them. You know, nothing else would buy a lot of hot dogs. Yeah? I'd like to add that to the budget. You have Thrawn Day objections from the council. Okay. You need to find my ladder just? No. We could probably just keep that in the miscellaneous. Yeah. And just notate it there, if that's what the council wishes to do. I'd like to see it as a separate item. Separate? Yes. Oh, he knows where it is and what it is. The new project, whatever it is, go ahead. To a particular project, go to all of the implications for his stuff to a certain financial... He does. When he wants to know, I just print it off. That would be acceptable. Thank you. Yep. Joe, I think clients too need to talk about... Getting rid of the details, obviously. Yep. Has that been done? I haven't been out there. Yep. It's gone. Yeah, it's gone. Yep. Yeah. We had town-borne and construction out there. They did full removal. Septic abatement. Yeah. I think everything was all gone and cleaned up. We left the well just for now. The well at the top of the bill. No, the one that was down by the bath house. I didn't realize there was two. Yep. Yep. Well, yeah, everything else is gone. Yep. All right. Well, thank you, Joe. Joe. Do we have anything else to discuss? I do not have anything. I make a motion to adjourn. I can't.
