It's the largest inland lake in Wisconsin. It's about 137 some thousand acres, 01:47:23.040 --> 01:47:27.040 so it's kind of hard to wrap your head around if you're used to just like normal sized inland lakes. 01:47:28.000 --> 01:47:31.760 We also have the upper river lakes that are part of the system as well, but the survey 01:47:31.760 --> 01:47:37.040 does only cover Winnebago. Kind of scattered throughout the lake, we have 46 waypoints, 01:47:37.040 --> 01:47:42.400 those are the same 46 waypoints we have been trawling on, you know, going back to 1986 to 01:47:42.400 --> 01:47:46.880 keep it standardized and comparable across all these years of data that we have. And then we'll do 01:47:46.880 --> 01:47:51.600 it the first week in August, the first week in September, the first week in October, and then 01:47:51.600 --> 01:47:56.160 each one of those months we do the same 46 waypoints. We have a really unbelievable amount of spawning habitat for these 01:52:23.600 --> 01:52:28.400 fish to utilize. And as long as environmental conditions line up the reproductive history of 01:52:28.400 --> 01:52:33.760 fish, not just walleye, but fish in general, it's to spew out a whole lot of eggs and then 01:52:33.760 --> 01:52:38.640 how many of them survive. But yeah, the drum, they range from, you know, nine inches to we get them up to like 25, 01:53:19.440 --> 01:53:25.200 26 on some exceptionally large individuals. And you also pulled a few sturgeon. So Lake 01:53:29.440 --> 01:53:35.440 Winnebago is home to one of, if not the largest lake sturgeon population in the world. So the population might have more individuals.
