It is designed to be sensory overload. It is art, it is music, it is architecture, it is magic. We are at the house on the rock. You want to lean into the spooky a little bit. There's no place else like it in the world. Dan Spiffy Newman knows his way around the house on the rock. How you doing Marvin? It's good to see you. Haven't seen you in a little bit. He loves to take people there for the first time. It's the first thing you enter where you realize that what you're seeing is not like places that you've been before. A place he hopes elicits the same impact as it has had on him. Something out here is breeding creativity and I'm open to people calling that whatever they want to call that. Magic or inspiration for spirit. This place is definitely a magical place in different ways to different people. It's been working its magic on Dan after a near-death experience from COVID. When I first woke up from the coma I had to completely re-teach my body how to do everything including walking. With its gentle slopes, occasional stairs, distance to cover, and places to pause and reflect, the house became key to Dan's recovery. Definitely a place that even now I still sit and stop and rest for a bit. But since he first came here post-COVID, Dan has persevered. It was very difficult, it was very painful, but I did it. And I enjoyed it because of the experience of all the things I loved here all in one place. Motivated by all there is to see and share, Dan now dedicates his visits to helping others find their own fantastical wonder. There's very few things that get me as excited as when I have somebody new that hasn't been before and I just know that they're going to love something. There's two places that are guaranteed to get a reaction and I usually film them, film my guest's reaction. What? Oh my god. Holy. What? I think everybody should see it once. Step by step, the path through the house on the rock has been a healing one for Dan, aided by those he has brought along. This place really helped with my health journey. When you're seeing joy and awe and wonder in somebody else's eyes, it not only does it take your mind off struggle and pain and things like that, but it also makes it worthwhile. And as many times as I've come, it's still worth it. So I'm grateful. Thank you.
